Divisions

Masters City Little League offers baseball divisions for boys and girls ages 4-18. For more information on a specific league, select the division level of interest from the navigation menu.

WEEBALL

WeeBall baseball is for boys and girls between the age of 4 & 5 (if their birth date is January-August of 2013, they are "league age 4" and can play in WeeBall). They will learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding, these players hit a ball off a batting tee. Rules of the game may be varied to accommodate the need for teaching. The primary goals of Wee/Tee Ball are to teach children in the fundamentals of baseball and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork. Basic hitting, fielding, catching and throwing fundamentals are stressed. Any child under age 6 whom has never played baseball are encouraged to start in Wee/Tee Ball for safety reasons, regardless of their league age placement. If your child is age 5 or 6 and has played before in this league he or she is eligible to a move up to Coach Pitch pending a review of their performance by the league safety officer. You will have the option to request this during the registration process.

TEEBALL

Tee Ball baseball is for boys and girls ages 5-6 who want to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding, building from the Wee Ball division.

In Tee Ball, players hit a ball off a batting tee. Rules of the game may be varied to accommodate the need for teaching.

The primary goals of Tee Ball are to children in the fundamentals of baseball and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork. Basic hitting, fielding, catching and throwing fundamentals are stressed. 

No live pitching is permitted in this division. Games will be played on a field with a base path and along the foul lines. No score is kept. Each game consists of a maximum of 3 complete innings with each game lasting about 1:15. Games times will be 6:00pm and 7:15pm.

Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in this introduction level of Little League. After completing a Little League volunteer application and passing a required national background check, parents may become involved in practices, and be eligible as coaches, managers, umpires, local league board members and other volunteer positions within the league.

Coach Pitch

The Coach Pitch is for boys and girls ages 5-6 who want to continue developing the fundamentals of hitting and fielding, building from the Tee Ball league

In the Coach Pitch, a coach delivers pitches to the batter, replacing the tee. Rules of the game may be varied to accommodate the need for teaching. 

The primary goals of Coach Pitch are to teach children in fundamentals of baseball and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork. Basic hitting, fielding, catching and throwing fundamentals are stressed. 

Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in this introduction level of Little League. After completing a Little League volunteer application and passing a required national background check, parents may become involved in practices, and be eligible as coaches, managers, umpires, local league board members and other volunteer positions within the league.

Machine Pitch

Machine Pitch is a division is for boys and girls league ages 7-8. 

This division begins with the use of a pitching machine and introduces to kid-pitch baseball and competitive play, while continuing to build upon the fundamentals taught in the Coach Pitch. 

Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in Little League. After completing a Little League volunteer application and passing a required national background check, parents may become involved in practices, and be eligible as coaches, managers, umpires, local league board members and other volunteer positions within the league.

Minor League
Minor League is for boys and girls league ages 9-10.  These players are entered into a draft with tryouts with all coaches of the league and the VP. 

Minors League is a continuation of kid-pitch baseball as taught in Machine Pitch while continuing to build upon the fundamentals taught in the lower levels. 

Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in Little League. After completing a Little League volunteer application and passing a required national background check, parents may become involved in practices, and be eligible as coaches, managers, umpires, local league board members and other volunteer positions within the league.

Major League

Major League is for boys and girls league ages 11-12 who have demonstrated a more advanced skill level through tryouts and a draft. 

Major League is a competitive league with a win/loss record and a pitching count recorded.

Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in Little League. After completing a Little League volunteer application and passing a required national background check, parents may become involved in practices and be eligible as coaches, managers, umpires, local league board members and other volunteer positions within the league.

Junior League

Junior League is a program for boys and girls league ages 13-14.

Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in this teenage division of Little League. After completing a Little League volunteer application and passing a required national background check, parents may become involved in practices, and be eligible as coaches, managers, umpires, local league board members and other volunteer positions within the league.
