Lady Warriors: Undefeated

The Lady Warriors were undefeated over the weekend defeating Michigan Hawks (2:1), and Kolping FC (3:0) on Saturday. Sunday, they played a very impressive match ending with a 1:1 tie while playing the entire match down two players (9 vs 11).

The team played a highly disciplined defense from top to bottom and counter attacked when the opportunities arose. Both teams were held scoreless at the half, as the Lady Warriors worked diligently in a 4-3-1 formation. In the second half, the Lady Warriors showed their composure after a goal was conceded around the 10 minute mark, the girls continued to keep pressure at the other end of the field until Rayna Edwards was able to redirect a cross under the keeper to tie things up.
